About Gremp Photography

About photographer Chuck Gremp,  I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.  I use to work for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad for over 25yrs.  I was injured in 2004 and ended with a forced, decided retirement.  I have enjoyed photography for well over thirty years, starting back in my high days.  I am currently enrolled at Montana State University working towards a Bachelor in Art in Photography degree.

Over the years, I have done many weddings, portraits, railroad, wildlife and just about anything out there.  Weddings, Iíve done from early morning with bride and family to well after the reception.  Iíve even done the dress rehearsal.  Portraits, not my speciality, but one I can do and quite often get those wonderful shots that people enjoy the most.  Railroad photos are something I have done, but not always my special favorite, although I do have a good working knowledge of possible shots.  Wildlife is something I have a great passion fore.   I enjoy drives into the backcountry.  I truly enjoy spending time in Yellowstone National Park and any of the others.  I have been to NASCAR, I have done sporting events and I continue to enjoy photography.

My current passion is horses.  My elderly neighbor talked about, enlightened me about horses and because of this I have wanted to learn more about horses, as a dedication to this very dear friend of mine.  So I have been working with Bozeman Dressage and Combined Training club with photos.  I am a member of the Horsemans Club with Montana State University, taking photos for them at riding events, shows, and just about anything the club does.  I have also done some photos for the Hellcat Hockey Club at MSU also.  Done photos for the Ag department at school.
